NetFlix

Well I just spent almost 6 hours watching the series Kill Shot.  And in the last half hour it froze up.  Could not get it going so I closed the window.  Now did I mention I had just watches almost 6 hours of this show.
So I go back to Netflix and guess what they do not have it listed... yes I cannot find it to see the last half hour and end of the series.   Is there nothing that works in the US an more?

NAMM 2012

Since the US Government has seen fit not to allow my Partner in China a VISA for the NAMM 2012 show.  Since we would be displaying most of the booth as her products I have decided not to do NAMM.  NAMM was very gracious to allow me to get out of the show since I really do not make many products that I wholesale and it would be a waist of time without the products from China.  The short of it is I will not be doing NAMM in 2012.  I will be going back in 2013 with my Novelty business.

Gonvernment has done it again

Well I have a friend and business associate in China. She applied for a VIAS to come to the NAMM show. Now she had all the correct paperwork including a letter from NAMM saying she had paid for the booth etc. Our Government in it great wisdom denied here a VIAS.  Now I find this very strange as they are giving hundreds of VISAs for Chinese Business men that want to bring Chinese products to the US and sell them to us.  My friend was coming to the US to fine products made in America to take back to China and sell them there.  So the company that wants to sell American made products in China cannot come here but all the Chinese that want to sell the US chinese made products can.    You got to love the logic.  Send more of our money out of the US and prevent bringing money to the US.

Safari not good

I am still having trouble logging into my emails with Safari and Firefox.  I will get to them when I can.

Safari Sucks

I made the mistake of upgrading my Safari... now it hardly works.  It cannot find gmail.  Sometimes the old stuff works best never had a problem until the upgrade.

Well, I am.  I hate everything and everyone for absolutely no reason.  So I a going to a movie and calling this just a lost day.  Hope everyone is having a great day.  But there are those days we must endure.  Just let them pass!

Saxophone Repair

I hope toy have my new Saxophone Repair Shop up and running by early Dec. 2011.  It will be by appointment only and I will do limited work as I still have to run the instrument company and my new apparel business.  Just want to keep my hand in repair.

Gary Meek Saxophonist

I have been listening to Gary Meek and he is a real saxophonist and musician.  This Cd is STEP 7 and I really like Time's Lie with Flora Purim.  Gary is play an old Martin soprano saxophone with a great sound and he play with great pitch.  I notice that is not the normal thing for the modern soprano players.  I think you would really enjoy this CD.

AMC Stubs Card

I received this response from the AMC Theaters when I found out they have a limit on the time you can redeem your points on their Stubs Card.  There is never any mention of this on any print advertising or by the person selling you the Stubs Cars when you purchase it.  This is very bad business on the part of yet another giant Corp.    I am still amazed how the big corporations fine ways to cheat their customers and think it is OK.  

“There is an expiration date on all rewards. All rewards must be redeemed within 90 days.”  This never appears in any advertising including the one in the theater or again by the person selling the memberships!

How I met the Great Saxophonist & Musician Eddie Harris

I was setting in my Sax Shop in Los Angeles one day when a guy waked in the front door.  Now I know who he was even thought we have never meet.  He was Eddie Harris..  He walked over to my bench where I was working and said "I am having trouble playing my high notes and need your help"  Well this is Eddie Harris and he can play as high on the saxophone as anyone alive.  I thought I do not want to get into talking about high notes with Eddie Harris.  He turned his back to me and took out his sax so I could not see it.  He started to try to play.  All I heard was squeaks......   It was really bad.....   He turned around and said "I don't know what the problem is"  apparently he had closed the car door on his neck and it went at a right angle... and was very flat in the center....  He looked at me and started laughing....  And that was how I met Eddie.....  He had just come in to find a new neck which I happened to have.... but wanted to have some fun before asking me if I had one....

Trickle down No. 2

I also forgot to mention that if the government had invested that money in small business....   the small business would be paying taxes and creating income for the government.   Because as we all know and hear everyday the large corporations do not pay taxes and move their production and head offices out of the country taking the money they make with them. The Small Business money stays and gets spent in the US.

CBS TV Online Sucks

I have been trying to watch the full episodes of many of the CBS shows.  Each time when an ad comes on it takes the show from full screen back to the small box or completely stops the show.  I have had a lot of trouble seeing the end of any show.  I do not recommend watching these shows until CBS works out the bugs.
